Henkel KGaA Gets Antitrust OK to Buy Dial Corp

Henkel KGaA received antitrust clearance from the Federal Trade Commission for its proposed acquisition of Dial Corp. The commission said Tuesday it terminated the waiting period required for the companies under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.On Dec. 14, German consumer-products group Henkel said it agreed to buy Dial Corp. for about $2.9 billion.
